How do I pick up my instrument?
On your order form, enter your preference for the day and time you would like to get your instrument. The instrument can be picked up during non-business hours as well, including evenings and weekends. Alternatively, use the contact form to arrange a time during business hours to stop by and to fill out the necessary paperwork and to get your instrument.
Do I need a credit card to rent?
Yes. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Amex

What size instrument should I get?
The best way to get sized is to consult your instructor. We at New York Quality Strings are also here to help you choose the correct size. If you make an appointment to visit our shop we can size you and provide you an instrument at that time. If you would like to estimate the size you need here is a brief description on how:
Extend the left hand straight out to the side parallel with the floor. Using either a yardstick or tape measure, measure from the base of the neck to the center of the palm.
Use the sizing chart below from the measurements obtained above to determine the instrument size.

if i rent and later decide to purchase do i get any discount?
100% of your first year’s instrument rental fees are appled to the purchase of an instrument. After that, 40% of the second year’s rental fees and 20% of fees thereafter are appled to the purchase of an instrument.
